GLENN BECK:

OK .. I confess, I’m a Glenn Beck follower. I tape him on DVR on a recurring daily basis. It’s now 4:00 AM and he’s on again! So I guess I’ll listen to him again for the fourth time. The original daily time slots are on FOX/TV from 4:00-5:00 PM CST

On Friday Glenn had three authors, and the subject is about Progressivism. I learned a lot.

I have titled our google website

  1. Indeed, the history of banking (central banking, in particular, begun in 1691 in England) is quite interesting:

What happened to end the first United States Bank (1791-1811)? (It's twenty year charter was not renewed by whom?)

And, how did the second United States Bank (1816-1832) get rechartered? (Can you say, "The War of 1812?") And, what happened to the second United States Bank (that was a real battle!)?

    Why was President Lincoln assassinated?

And, how about the "Farmers Alliance" / "People's Party" (1877-1869; and on-again, off-again since then [cf. Glenn Beck - "white racist progressive revolutionary hate monger" {or as President Bush put it "the Constitution is just a god-dammed piece of paper"}]) precursors to the Federal Reserve System?

I'm reminded of the old song "Let's go back to the day when men were men. And start the First World War all over again. That's right, just tell them son! Isolationism can be fun! Back with Barry!! Back with 'Cash and Carry'!! Back with Barry's boys" (with reference to Barry Goldwater's run for the presidency in 1964).

For more on the meaning of money, I would suggest Money as Debt

All in all, six good segments on the issues in Glenn Beck's January 29, 2010 show!

    Your "progressive Christian" friend . . .
